Did anyone go to the tax free weekend sale for school supplies? Well I did. Oh boy it was a nightmare!!! So my oldest little girl will be starting 1st grade on the 16th of this month. So we went to Walmart. It was so busy. People everywhere!!! First off I don’t do good with alot of poeple around. I get anxiety really bad. So here is me and my two girls at the good ole Walmart. My youngest is a year and a half. She wouldnt stay in the cart and kept jumping out at me when I didnt expect it. On top of it, it was nap time. So anytime she didn’t get her way she would start screaming at the top of her lungs. Which made everyone look at us. Like I was the worst mom ever. So while trying to deal with my baby, my oldest who is six was throwing everything she wanted regardless if it pertain to school into the cart. Needless to say we completed her school list and moved on to the clothing part of our shopping trip. By this point I was pulling my hair out and couldn’t finish shopping fast enough!!! So we hit the little girls clothing isle and my oldest goes nuts. She loves clothes. Especially dresses…. Now I don’t know if you guys have seen the new line of little girls clothes out at Walmart but some of the items I found to be horrible!! On the other hand my daughter found those same items to be incredible. So this leads us to the point of arguing in the middle of walmat with my youngest on my hip screaming at me!!I was so overwhelmed I didn’t know if I was going to survive this shopping trip. We spent about an hour trying to pick out clothes for my child to start her school year with. After trying everything on and chasing my youngest threw the isle by the changing room it was time to check out. In my mind I was thanking God! We were so close to being done and out of the store. I prefer the self check out. It is usually faster and has the shortest lines. Well me being very overwhelmed at this point never thought about how long it would actually take me to check out with a huge cart full. So I get up to check out and I start checking everything out. My youngest still screaming at me and my oldest still trying to throw things into the cart . With a long line behind me who is getting frustrated with me due to my kids and the amount of items I have in my cart. So the very nice walmart worker came over with another cart and started helping bag my items and putting them into the cart . I clearout my cart enough to put my youngest child in so I could get her off my hip and be able to use both hands. So then the lovely Walmart working went over and started playing with my baby so I could finish up. I was so grateful for this worker!!!!! I never wanted to break down and cry more then I did during this shopping trip. So I will never do this tax free weekend again nor will I ever take both my kids for school shopping again!
